Died Saturday, July 19, 2014 peacefully at her home surrounded by family.
Loving wife of Gregory Francis Matindale of 40 years.
She was born February 3, 1954 in Frederick MD
The daughter of Mary Yohn Guy Horton and the late Harry Cleveland Guy.
1972 Graduate of South Carroll High School. She was a Homemaker and also had worked for National Geographic for 15 years and was office manager for 20 years of Electrical and Telephone Services. She was Treasurer of the Ronnie Legore Activities Park. Enjoyed spending time with friends and going down the shore.
Surviving in addition to her husband and mother are Son and Daughter-in-law Jason Adam and Melanie Alyn Martindale of Taylorsville. Sisters Helen Elaine Archer of Gypsy Hill, Wanda Lee Legore of Winfield, Grandchildren Megan Ashley and Jessie Adella Martindale. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by Brother-in-law Ronnie Legore and Cousin Frankie Pescatore.
The Family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784. Funeral Services will take place at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 11 AM.
