Betty Jean Sauter (nee Subock), 92, of Rockdale, MD passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, surrounded by her family.
The beloved wife of Herbert V. Sauter of 72 years.
Born June 29, 1933, in Hebbville, MD the daughter of the late John Harry Subock and the late Edith V. Subock (nee Pahl).
Betty spent her time caring for other family members and friends; especially the last couple of years caring for her daughter and husband. She was a lifetime member of St. James Lutheran Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband is her daughter Kathleen Dell & husband Charles; grandchildren Daniel Dell & wife Tammi and Katie Dell; great-grandchildren Wyatt & Morgan Dell.
Preceded in death by daughter Lisa Sauter and siblings Lucille Widerman & Shirley Subock.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 24, 2025, from 4-6 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1212 West Old Liberty Road Sykesville, MD 21784 (beside South Carroll High School), where funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 1 PM.
Interment at Mt. Olive Cemetery Randallstown, MD.
