Bethenia Gallup (nee Williams), age 85, of Mt. Airy, passed away on Thursday February 26, 2004 at Pleasant View Nursing Home, Mt. Airy, after an extended illness.
She was born January 2, 1919 in Washington, D.C. , the daughter of the late William Williams and the late Clara Crawley Gwynn (nee Feaster).
She worked in a Clothing Factory. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Westminster. She was a member of Westminster Senior Center, enjoying music, Arts and Crafts, dancing and traveling.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Carmen and Bill Long of Woodbine, and five grandchildren, Donald Rainey and wife Leeza of Owings Mills, Tanya Brookes and husband Billy of Columbia, Christy Long of Laurel and Heather and Kenny Long of Woodbine. She has two great grandchildren, Jason Brookes and Morganne Payne.
Funeral Service will be held Tuesday March 2, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. at First Assembly of God, 30 N. Cranberry Road, Westminster, MD 21157 with the Pastor Gary Puckett of First Assembly of God in Westminster officiating.
Interment will be in Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Marriottsville, MD
Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Directors, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
