Alice E. Pickett (nee Gist), 95 of Woodbine, MD passed away on Friday, April 10, 2026 surrounded by her family.
She was the beloved wife of Ralph L. Pickett for 75 years.
Born July 24, 1930, in Carroll County, MD the daughter of the late Thomas B. Gist and the late Margaret Elizabeth Gist (nee Hughes).
She enjoyed going on trips especially to Mrytle Beach or to the Mountains.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her children Steven Pickett & wife Isabelle, Dana Pickett & wife Patricia, Keith Pickett and Kim Shuffler & husband Henry; 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren and her brother Raymond Thomas Gist.
Predeceased by her siblings Francis L. Gist and Betty Strevig.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 12, 2026, from 1-3 PM and 5-7 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory 1212 West Old Liberty Road Sykesville, MD 21784 (beside South Carroll High School).
