Alice Virginia Dyer

Alice Virginia Dyer (nee Sexton), 76, of Mt. Airy, MD passed away on Monday, January 26, 2026, at her home.

The beloved wife of Kenneth Owen Dyer for 56 years.

Born January 12, 1950, in Whitesburg, KY the daughter of the late Richard Sexton and the late Nanabelle Sexton.

She was a homemaker; enjoyed her cats and Christmas and enjoyed her grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to her husband is her son Joshua Ryan Dyer of Mt. Airy, MD, her brother Robert David Sexton and his wife Bobbie, and her granddaughters Savannah and Caroline.

She was preceded in death by her siblings Hubert Sexton, Julia Margaret Johnson, and Dixie Petrie.

Celebration of Life will be at a later date.
