Albert
Augustus Franklin, age 79, of Taylorsville, Md., died Friday October 10, 2003 at
Kline Hospice House in Mt. Airy. Md.
He was born August 20, 1924 in Carroll County, Taylorsville, Maryland, the son
of the late Fred Franklin and the late Julia Ann Hooper Franklin.
He was a truck driver and a farmer.
He was the husband of the late Edna May Franklin (nee Kline).
He was the father of Ronald E. Yeager of Virginia and the late Connie J. Wolf.
He was the brother of Luther J. Franklin of New Windsor, Mary Alma Franklin of
New Windsor and Belva Richards of Littleton, Colo.
Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held Wednesday October 15, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. at
Burrier-Queen Funeral Directors, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield, MD
(beside South Carroll High School) with the Rev. O.F. "Bud" Kibbe,
Methodist Clergy, officiating.
Interment will be in Taylorsville U.M. Church Cemetery, Taylorsville, MD
Pallbearers will be Glenn Mullinex, Harry Franklin, Todd Wolf, Jeff Wolf, Ricky
Barbe, Francis Lowe and Mike Laychak.
Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9
